About coil processing lines
What is a coil processing line?
It is the common name for lines that uncoil and process steel in coil form. All three start with a decoiler and a straightener: a slitting line gives strip, a cut-to-length line gives cut sheets, a roll forming line gives a finished profile.
Do I need slitting or cut-to-length?
Slitting if you need strip, cut-to-length if you need sheets at a set length. The two often run side by side; we wrote the difference out in detail on the comparison page.
Can a machine be added to a line already running?
In most cases yes. Decoilers, straightener servo feeders and stackers are supplied on their own; what decides it is the line's discharge height and whether the control system can give a signal.
Are installation and training included?
Yes. After the line is assembled and tested at our factory, our engineers install it at your plant, commission it and train your operators; all three are in the price. Our lines run in more than 48 countries today.
