How many different profiles can one line handle?
As long as the section family is similar, there is no limit; dimensions and hole pattern change with the recipe. The roll tooling sets the boundary: a different section family means different tooling. Telling us up front which profiles you run lets us build the line around the family rather than one product.
Does roll forming make sense for low-volume, high-variety production?
With many sections and low volumes, tooling changeover time becomes the deciding factor, which pushes quick-change or cassette systems to the front. If volumes really are low, bending or pressing can stay more economical for some profiles — that has to be discussed product by product, there is no single answer.
