The hole pattern varies along the profile — can the line handle that?
Yes. The punching unit runs synchronised with the servo feed and the pattern is called from the recipe. The critical question is whether holes are punched before or after forming: punch first and the hole can deform as the section is built; punch after and you need a separate positioning accuracy. Which order is right depends on the profile section.
Why does flatness matter so much on a racking profile?
A bent upright will not align with the other members during assembly and it distorts the load distribution. That is why on racking lines a levelling unit is not optional but, in practice, mandatory.
