When do I need a straightener servo feeder?
If coil set and curvature in the strip are degrading part quality, combining feeding and straightening in one frame saves both floor space and investment.
How many straightening rollers should I choose?
Thin and surface-critical sheets need more rollers, thick sheets fewer. We help you pick the right variant among 7 / 9 / 11 / 13 rollers for your material.
How does it differ from a separate straightener and feeder?
One frame, one control, one operator panel: the synchronization problem between two machines disappears, the line gets shorter, wiring and commissioning become simpler.
How is the straightening pressure adjusted?
Pressure is set according to sheet thickness and stored in the recipe; the SCHNEIDER touchscreen keeps up to 250 die memories. It works up to 0.5–4 mm thickness and 1600 mm width.
Is this the same as a decoiler straightener feeder?
Close, but not the same machine. A decoiler straightener feeder combines all three functions in one unit; this one combines the last two — straightening and feeding — in a single body and takes its strip from a separate decoiler. Where all three need to sit on one platform, that is a compact line.
